The Lancaster & Chester Railroad (LC) placed the first load of plastic pellets at Carolina Poly’s new facility at Chester, South Carolina this week following the recent completion of this facility. We are proud to be serving this new customer and are optimistic about growing together in the future!
Laurinburg & Southern (LRS) MP15 2433 sits outside the LRS shop in Laurinburg, NC sporting its fresh coat of paint. The 2433 along with two other MP15s were purchased from NS in late 2016 and are now in service on the LRS.

Gulf & Ohio Railways is pleased to announce that Michael Wester joined our company on January 2, 2017.
Mr. Wester has dual roles as the Director of Purchasing and Logistics at Knoxville Locomotive Works, Inc. and the Vice President Strategic Planning for Gulf & Ohio Railways, Inc.
Mr. Wester comes to us with over 30 years of executive experience in the railroad industry. He was previously President of the RJ Corman Railroad Company overseeing the Short Lines, Switching Company, and Railpower Locomotives. He has also worked as a Division Superintendent with Norfolk Southern. He attended Harvard Business School and the University of Tennessee.
